1. Overview

Pixly: Color Quest is a casual mobile game. The App does not require you to create an account. However, the App uses third-party services for ads, leaderboards, and anonymous analytics, which may process certain data automatically.

2. Data we collect (and who collects it)

A. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process:

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate (coarse) location
  • Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier (IDFA) when available or other device IDs
  • Advertising data, such as ads shown
  • Ad / product interactions, such as ad views or taps
  • Diagnostics, such as crash logs
  • Performance data, such as app launch time, hang rate, or energy usage These data may be used for third-party advertising and analytics, and some performance data may be shared with other entities that display ads.

B. Anonymous analytics (TelemetryDeck)

We use TelemetryDeck to understand feature usage and improve gameplay and stability. TelemetryDeck states it collects only the data that we explicitly send (it does not automatically collect extra data on its own). Data we may send includes:

  • An anonymized install identifier (constant per installation)
  • Events/actions we define (e.g., “app launched”, “level completed”)
  • A timestamp rounded to the nearest hour
  • App/device context we include with events (e.g., app version, OS version, device type)

C. Leaderboards (Apple Game Center)

We use Google AdMob to display ads. Ad services may process:

  • Device / app information (device model, OS version, app version, language)
  • Approximate location (often derived from IP address)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, diagnostics, fraud prevention)
  • Advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking permission on iOS (when implemented)

On iOS 14.5+, access to IDFA requires the AppTrackingTransparency permission prompt.

C. Leaderboards (Apple Game Center)

If you choose to use public status features in the App and are signed in to iCloud, the App may store your selected in-game status in Apple CloudKit. This status is stored in the App’s public CloudKit database so it can be displayed to other players inside the App. The stored data may include a game-specific player identifier, your selected status, and timestamps used to keep the status up to date.

3. What we don’t collect intentionally

We do not intentionally collect:

  • Your real name, phone number, or address
  • Your contacts, photos, or files
  • Payment information (no in-app purchases at the moment)

4. How we use data

We use the data described above to:

  • Show ads and measure ad performance
  • Prevent fraud and troubleshoot ad delivery
  • Understand gameplay usage (e.g., which levels are played)
  • Improve performance and stability
  • Provide leaderboards via Game Center

5. Tracking, ATT, and ad personalization

Depending on your region and your device settings, ads can be contextual (non-personalized) or personalized.

In some regions (e.g., EEA/UK/Switzerland), Google’s consent tools may be shown to collect/record ad consent choices.

6. Sharing & third-party processors

We share information only with the third parties needed to operate the App:

  • Google AdMob (advertising)
  • TelemetryDeck (anonymous analytics)
  • Apple Game Center (leaderboards)

These services process data under their own policies and terms.

We recommend reviewing each provider’s privacy policy for details on their processing and retention.

7. Data retention

Since we do not store personal inputs or HealthKit data on our servers, there is no personal data retained by us that you can request, modify, or delete. To remove locally stored data, please delete and reinstall the app.

8. International transfers

Third-party providers may process data on servers outside your region. Where required, providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

9. Children’s privacy

Pixly: Color Quest is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at ryaboshtanov.den@gmail.com

10. Your choices

  • Ads & Tracking (ATT): If we use tracking for advertising, iOS may ask for permission via App Tracking Transparency. You can change your choice anytime in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security → Tracking).
  • Consent (EEA/UK/CH): Where required, Google’s consent tools may be shown so you can choose personalized vs non-personalized ads.
  • Analytics: Because TelemetryDeck uses anonymized, per-installation identifiers, we may not be able to locate a specific person’s data. You can reset the app’s analytics identifier by deleting and reinstalling the app.
  • Deletion requests: You can contact us (email below). Where possible, we will assist and/or direct you to the relevant provider controls.

C. Leaderboards (Apple Game Center)

If you use leaderboards, the App uses Apple Game Center. Apple may make your Game Center nickname, avatar, and scores visible to other Game Center users depending on your settings and the leaderboard type. Game Center also provides identifiers that are scoped to help protect player privacy.

D. Public player status (Apple CloudKit)

If you are signed in to iCloud, the App stores your current in-game status in Apple CloudKit. This status is stored in the App’s public CloudKit database so it can be displayed to other players inside the App. The stored data may include a game-specific player identifier, your selected status, and timestamps used to keep the status up to date.

We recommend reviewing each provider’s privacy policy for details on their processing and retention.

7. Data retention

Retention is primarily controlled by the third-party services we use (e.g., analytics retention settings and ad system requirements). We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy.

8. International transfers

Third-party providers may process data on servers outside your region. Where required, providers use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
